Land Acknowledgement
MacDonald House Museum, and the Lake Ainslie Historical Society, acknowledges that we live and work in Mi’kma’ki, the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people. We recognize the Mi’kmaq people as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land, which is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship.” We are all treaty people.
